Paper Vase

I made these paper vases. I saw this idea in a magazine and wanted to try it. I bought a paper mache box at Hobby Lobby when I went down to visit my family. I bought some coordinating paper and glued it on. I found this cool glue called zip glue. It dries fast, and doesn't make the paper bubble. I measured the paper to fit the box and added other colors on top of it. After I had my paper glued onto the vase, I put polyurethane over the paper. When that dried, I glued on the ribbon, buttons and chipboard letters. It was a very fun project. I love paper crafts! I haven't gotten into them until just recently. It is a great craft to do in a short amount of time. There are so many beautiful papers to choose from, and it is easy to measure, cut, and glue. I hope I can find more time and fun projects to do!
