Some pictures of my house

So here it is, the reason for all of my craziness lately. I decided I better post some of our projects we have been doing around our house lately. First I have to show you the cute clock that Jeff made me a while back. It was just natural wood, but I decided to paint it a color to match the walls better.
The painting doesn't stop there of course. Since I put the new wood in the main level, I decided that the color of the wood on the banister looked hideous! So in true Erin style, I painted it black.

Here is a pic of our family room now that I have a few things up. It isn't finished yet, but it is close!
Here is my hutch. I had to paint it to match my kitchen better. I painted the outside a mocha color and the back red. I love how it turned out!
Here is the range hood Jeff made for me. I love how it turned out.
Here is a pic of the island. We ordered the cabinets and Jeff made the surround and shelf for it.
Here is a final picture of the kitchen done. It was a lot of work, but we are loving the finished result!
