One way I would describe our fourth was defiantly different. It was all because of the weather this year. Typically on the fourth, it is hot and we have a great time enjoying the outside. This year was not necessarily that way. It all started with swimming at Ross park. Five minutes after we got there the lightening started then came the rain. After waiting an hour an a half, we were finally able to swim and have a good time for a couple of hours.
As soon as we got back to our house down come more rain....hail....and more rain. It was a down pour. Jeff had to grill the hamburgers in the garage.
The kids had fun eating in there as well.
Don't forget the pinata....usually done in the back...in the garage also.
Finally, the rain stopped, and we were able to sit outside and see the fireworks. We are lucky to live close enough to see the show from our front yard. All in all, it was a fun crazy fourth that we won't forget in a long time!

Cute pictures! We were in the same exact boat! Our weather was cool and cloudy all day. It is usually really hot on the 4th of July so it didn't even seem like the 4th of July to me!
