First Day of School

Today was Danica and Landon's first day of school. They were both excited this morning to see their new teachers and friends. We are lucky again this year. They both have great teachers. Danica is in second grade with Mrs. Reed and Landon is in fifth and has our neighbor Mrs. Jones. It is funny to me that all the teachers my kids have had live in our neighborhood. That never happened to me when I was in school. I asked them how their day was today and they both had a great day. Landon said his teacher is nice but is going to be tough. That is good for him. Maybe now he'll have some homework. Danica was excited because three of her girlfriends got their ears pierced just like her. All in all, it was a great day.
