I was so lucky to have my mom come up a couple of weeks ago while Jeff was gone to the Phillipines. While she was here we made Christmas table runners to give away as neighbor and friend gifts. They were so easy and fun to make! Measure and cut the strips of fabric, hem the sides, fold the fabric together length wise with the outside patterns touching, and sew the top to make the point. When you are done you have a cute, inexpensive gift you can give any of your friends. Pair it with a set of cooking utensils from Ikea, some white chocolate popcorn, and you have yourself a great gift!

Way cute! Why don't you bring some over to me?!! I ran into Angela Udy (don't know her married name) at a clogging thing. Apparently one of her daughters clogs. We talked for awhile. So fun! She and I weren't even really friends but I recognized her face and since you told me she lived here too..... Anyway, hope you're having happy holidays!
