April 6th was a huge milestone for our Landon. He turned sixteen! I keep thinking, how did that happen? I can't believe that I am old enough to have a sixteen year old! I guess if I have to be that old, I am glad that I get to have Landon as my sixteen year old. What a great kid! He does so well in school, runs a website business, has a paper route, goes to church and seminary willingly, and has great friends. I am lucky to be his mom!
This year for his birthday he chose to have a bunch of friends over the weekend after, so we had a fun little family party on his big day.
We made him work for his gift...sending him on a little treasure hunt.
There were clues all over.
He was pretty excited about what was at the end!
Yep, a car for him to finally drive. (he was so excited he kept his eyes closed for the picture) :)
I think that he had a pretty fun birthday!
We ended the day with homemade cafe rio salads and key lime cheesecake. YUM!
