Music

I was just looking through my blog and realized that I had over a year between posts.  So sad since I use this blog as a journal for my family.  I got busy...life got busy...the kids are so busy.  So I decided to just take events from last year and incorporate them into posts for this year.
So music.
My kids love music and are all involved in it whether it be piano lessons, or band, or choir. Last year was especially fun for Danica.  She got to be in two choirs, and was chosen to participate in an honor's choir.  She loves to sing.  Usually you will hear her singing non stop all day long around the house.  Show choir was fun for her because not only did she get to sing, but she got to dance and wear a pretty dress.

She got home from singing and dancing for her Christmas choir and loved every minute of it!

Landon also loves music. Especially band.  Of course he got all dressed up and had a great Christmas band concert for us too.

They both had great end of the year concerts.  Landon even got to get dressed up as a pirate for that concert since they played Pirates of the Caribbean.  That concert was especially fun for Landon since he was picked to be one of the drum majors for fall marching season.

We have gotten to see a couple of marching shows this year so far and they are great.  I love music too, and I love marching season.  Landon is having a great time and learning a lot.  Their show is great.  A child's imagination is the theme, and I can't think of a more fun show to have for Landon's senior year. 

I love how much being involved with music in school helps with the overall success that my kids have in school.  They have both made great friends, learned leadership skills, and had a lot of fun along the way.
