Life lately....My boy

Landon. What can I say about this boy. I was going through some pictures on my computer and thought to myself how fast time is flying. I wanted to post some pictures of my boy and write a little about the happenings in his life lately.

Landon turned 17 last April. He had a fabulous birthday at home and a party with his friends that weekend. Landon loved his Junior year of high school. He did very well in his classes, and had a great time with all of his friends.

He went to girl's choice and prom last year with a couple of nice girls. He has made some great friends at school, most of which graduated last year.

I was excited to be able to host prom dinner. I made chicken cord on bleu and got the dining room all decked out. It was a fun group to host.

After school got out, Landon went to Utah State's engineering state for the week, and was able to receive a presidential scholarship (full ride) for his high GPA and ACT scores.

He was so excited! So was I!!!!! Landon is accepted and ready to go to Utah State in 2019 after his mission.

We are excited to have a fellow aggie in the house.

He also worked hard last year and tried out and became a drum major for Highland's marching band.

He had to attend a summer camp, and was ready for a great marching season.

This kid had the time of his life! He loves music, band, and his teacher. This was a great experience for Landon, and he worked very hard. The band had a great season and won plenty of awards.

After marching season, it is concert season. His last Christmas concert at Highland was great. The music was beautiful, and I loved watching Landon perform.

Even though most of his friends graduated and moved on, he still has some great friends at school. He just went to a fun dance last weekend with a cute friend he know from his calculus class. They had a great time together.

Life is moving quickly for Landon. I am so glad he is having such a great senior year. He is a good boy, a hard worker, and is kind to his sisters and friends. It will be fun to watch and be a part of all the fun and exciting changes that are going to be happening with him soon.
